It was a strong weekend for Kimbia’s athletes with Sam Tanner opening his season at the Cooks Classic in his native New Zealand, winning the mile in 3:54.56. He’ll be back in action over the same distance at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix this weekend.
Elsewhere, Amos Bartelsmeyer donned the kit of Union Athletics Club for the first time last weekend and he made a great debut in the new colors, clocking 3:39.90 to win at the Lilac Grand Prix in Spokane, Washington. Also in action there was Michaela Meyer, who finished fifth in the 800m in 2:04.77.
