Fast times in store at Stanford

A host of Kimbia athletes will descend on Stanford University in Palo Alto, California on Thursday, May 2nd, for the Payton Jordan Invitational. The meet is renowned for producing swift distance races and with perfect weather forecast for Thursday, it should the case once again.

New recruit Elise Cranny will open her outdoor season in the women’s 1500m, the Nike Bowerman Track Club athlete returning to her alma matter. She had a promising winter campaign, clocking 15:24.32 in Boston back in December. Also entered in the 1500m are Natalja Piliusina and Karissa Schweizer, who was last in action at the World Cross Country in Denmark in late March.

Jess Tonn are both entered in the women’s 10,000m. Sean McGorty is ih in action over 1500m, while Lopez Lomong will compete over 5,000m. Marc Scott will race over 10,000m.
