The legacy of British middle distance running is among the greatest in any sport. In this inaugural webisode for The Daily Telegraph, we hear from experts such as Dave Moorcroft, Dave Bedford, Pat Butcher and the legendary Roger Bannister as they describe the effect the British tradition has on current Olympic hopefuls, Tom Lancashire, James Brewer, and Andy Baddeley.

This is the first of twelve webisodes to be published weekly on, every Thursday.

KIMbia Creating Documentary Mini-Series THE BRITISH MILER

This spring, KIMbia Athletics will continue its tradition of storytelling in an entirely new way. With the eyes of the world on London in 2012, we go over to the UK to explore the story of THE BRITISH MILER. Following seven British athletes on a quest to represent their country at the home-soil London Olympics, this documentary mini-series will interweave the story of contemporary milers and the legends who came before them, exploring the goals, the sacrifice, and the pressure that is shared between them all.

Look for full, half-hour episodes beginning in April… with new details and developments announced here in the meantime.
