Lineth is a member of the Kenyan Armed Forces. A four-time selection to the Kenyan World Championships team for cross country, she served as captain of the women's team that won gold at the 2011 Championships. She presently owns the world's best for 12 kilometres on the road, with a 38:10 from the 2010 Lilac Bloomsday Run.
