What are your opening races going to be? are you going to be doing any road racing any time soon? What differences/changes are you making in your training?

To Matt, Chris, & Jerry Schumacher

I know Chris is just in his second year of post-collegiate racing, but for both Matt and Chris, why wait until now to start doing some altitude training? Is there some significance to the timing of it, or is it just to change things up a little? Or both? Just curious.

chris, you briefly spoke about moving up to the steeplechase in the near future. have you given it more thought and/or do you know if we'll be able to see you in one this spring?

matt, 10k? ;-)

tim, how does your experience in kenya compare your experience with the guys in flagstaff?

good luck and thanks for your insight,
Stephen

Matt, Chris, Tim,

1. During your altitude training, is your diet and fluid intake the same as it would be at sea level?

2. What will your highest week be during altitude training, mileage wise?

3. Does Tim have an advantage over Matt and Chris because he has Altitude training experience from Kenya?

4. Any altitude sickness yet?

A lot more questions but I'll keep it to a minimum....

Train Hard, Win easy!

Matt, I hear you had a few injuries during college, I am just recovering from a stress reaction and so would like to know how you built your training back up to normal levels sensibly and what sort of cross training you did? Also, I am from England and am going out to college in America in January so any tips on adjusting to college life would also be welcome.

Best of luck with training!

How long is this stint at altitude? And, I know it's a fairly obvious question but I'd like to hear what you have to say...you guys have never done altitude training before, why did you decide to add that to your training schedule now?

Best of luck with your training in Flagstaff guys!

Hi, Do you all know if Sammy Wanjiru wear racing flats to train all the time like the Japanese. Being in Japan, one would think so, but perhaps not. Perhaps you don't know.

How is your training different (or maybe it is not) than what you would have normally done at this time of the year in Madison???
